Our Vision
Altitude Basketball Club was formed in 2022 with the goal of providing female athletes in the greater Edmonton area an opportunity to have high quality basketball experiences in a female-focused environment.
Our vision is to become a club that is known for its positive, skill-focused, confident athletes and one that provides an excellent basketball experience for all participants. Altitude programs are tryout-based with a focus on skills, IQ, and positive attitudes.
We aim to keep costs low through our volunteer-based programs and fundraising efforts. Altitude coaches will be NCCP trained or certified coaches, or working to become trained/certified.
Altitude Basketball is ran and led by NCCP Certified and Registered coach, Samantha Ringuette, and many additional excellent, volunteer coaches.

The Verification Program integrates important aspects of coaching, Safe Sport, and organizational leadership. Displaying the Verified logo above, indicates that we have been reviewed by our governing bodies and have added accountability to create welcoming, safe, and developmentally appropriate environments for everyone.
Like other Verified groups across Canada, we have committed to raise standards to provide the best athlete experience possible for all participants, including:
Mandatory background checks and Safe Sport Training for all coaches.
Adopting a full policy suite of guidelines that help protect the safety of all participants
Adhering to Canada Basketball’s model for Long Term Development, including age and developmentally appropriate training
Ensuring proper administrative procedures have been taken to govern our organization
